Our plants are in the sunshine waiting for the seed coats to open and the plants start growing.  How exciting to see the changes from day to day...

Happy Birthday Robert!

2nd Grade Open House...

Tuesday, September 6th at 6:30pm.
Please plan to join me in Room #68 as we will discuss plans for the year, curriculum, report cards, and lots of things parents need to know.
This is a great opportunity to get to know your child's teacher and help your child!

PTA

PTA stands for Parent- Teacher Association- these two groups of adults who most influence our children at this age.  Supporting PTA and joining the membership is another way to show that it is important  to participate- in anyway- in my child's education.
Just seeing you talk with other parents and teachers about school- stuff makes a big difference for our children!
Here at Beauclerc, we have an active communication policy and work hard to keep ou up-to-date on our school activities.  Please be sure to sign-up for electronic updates, and contact PTA anytime.

Scholastic Book Fair

The Scholastic Book Fair is coming!  The dates are Tuesday, September 6th through Thursday, September 15th, 9:00am- 2:30pm.  Our class will go to preview the fair on September 7th at 10:00am.  The "Read and Feed" Celebration will be on Tuesday, September 13th, 5:00pm-8:00pm.
This Book Fair gives you and your children the opportunity to buy carefully selected, quality books and products at affordable prices.  The proceeds from this event will enable us to participate in reading programs sponsored by our Beauclerc school library, such as the Sunshine State Young Reader Award and FRA Children's Book Award Programs.  We urge you to attend and need your support, and we look forward to seeing you there!
