Let's have an "UNFROGETTABLE" fundraiser...

     Let's help support our school!  Our fundraiser begins today!  The profits we earn will go toward the purchase of 1 Smartboard- a valuable resource for our students.  We are selling magazines and you can either renew a current subscription or order a new subscription. 
There are three ways to get orders and win some great prizes!

     Beginning with one item, students will receive a FROG!  Students will receive one frog for every subscription sold!  Turn in your orders daily to receive your FROGS and be entered in the FROG drawings for prizes and privileges.

***Final turn-in day for orders will be on Friday, September 2, 2011.

Week 2- Homework Assignments

     Please make sure your child is doing their homework every night and returning to school with it in their black binders the following morning.  Please check over their homework and place your initials at the top of the their paper.

This week's homework assignments are as follows:

• Monday 8/29= Write the numerals from 1-100.
• Tuesday 8/30= Write the days of the week.  Circle today.
• Wednesday 8/31= Write 8 words using the letters in September.
• Thursday 9/01= No Homework!
• Friday 9/02= No Homework!

Say Hello to "Sparkles"...

     Say hello to "Sparkles"!  This little bunny is new to our class.  Her fur is white and so soft and fluffy with pretty pink eyes.    She is getting used to all of her new friends and is thankful to be a part of everyone's day!  Thank you for all the snacks you have shared!

Our First Week with Mrs. Costiloe!

     We have had an exciting week together!  We are getting to know each other and learning what 2nd grade is all about!  We met "Sparkles" our class bunny and we just love to learn all about her.
We have completed our first week of homework assignments-

• Monday 8/22, we had to trace our hand and write our name, age, address, phone number, and birthday.
• Tuesday 8/23, we had to list 3 ways we would help at home.
• Wednesday 8/24, we wrote 6 rules for taking care of a pet.
• Thursday 8/25, we wrote our recipe for our favorite food.
• Friday 8/26, No homework!

Everyone have a safe and wonderful weekend so we can meet back at the cottage on Monday!
